Procrastination Station LLC was founded by an architecture professor at the Huckabee College of Architecture at Texas Tech University.  After his first semester working there he noticed a need for students to have after hours access to a lot of the equipment and materials they needed to complete assignments in their various classes.  He began purchasing equipment and setting up a space that would fulfill this goal, which ended up having most of the items a successful makerspace would need as well.  A year later and it was ready for its public debut which is where we are today.
